German biodiesel exports rise in first half of 2019

In the first half of 2019 German biodiesel exports rose compared to 2018 by 225,000 tons to 1.14 million tons. Exports to other EU countries are the majority, they rose 30 percent to 1 million tons. Most important recipient were the Netherlands with a 59 percent increase to 0.46 million tons. Also rising imports were noted for Great Britain, Belgium and the US. Declines were noted for France (minus 22 percent to 25,000 tons), Poland and Austria (minus 10 percent each to 118,000 and 88,000 tons).
