Register now: AGQM No-Harm Test 2017

The Association Quality Management Biodiesel e.V. (AGQM) invites to the next no-harm test for oxidation stabilizers for biodiesel. The registration is possible until 15th October 2017.

On the basis of the Diesel standard EN 590 Diesel fuel can be blended with up to 7 % FAME (fatty acid methyl ester, biodiesel). Biodiesel has to fulfill the requirements of the biodiesel standard EN 14214 which demands an oxidation stability of at least 8 h. To fulfil the requirements oxidation stabilizers are usually admixed to the biodiesel.

In cooperation with the mineral oil industry, AGQM has developed two demanding tests (so called no-harm tests) to prevent possible negative interactions between the additives and the fossil Diesel fuel or heating oil and their additives.

The next no-harm test round will start in autumn 2017. Interested additive producers can register until 15th October 2017.

All oxidation stabilizers for biodiesel as blend component for Diesel fuel or heating oil that passed the tests successfully can be found in two no-harm lists on AGQM’s homepage. You can also find more detailed information about the no-harm tests.
