5th International ‘Biodiesel’ Conference in Berlin

The Association Quality Management Biodiesel (AGQM) will hold its fifth international expert conference "Biodiesel" from 6 to 7 October. Topics decisive for the future like sales perspectives on international markets, continuously growing demands on quality and analytical methods as well as increasing engine requirements will be discussed in detail in different lectures.

Therefore, the conference does not only address experts from the Biodiesel industry but also the mineral oil and automotive industry, trading companies and research institutes. Therefore this conference is an ideal platform to deepen expert discussions in the field of Biodiesel research and application and offers a stage for the exchange with experts of different disciplines among lecturers and participants. AGQM also expects impulses for topics concerning the future direction of research and development in this area.

The conference will be held in the “Haus der Land- und Ernährungswirtschaft” (House of Agriculture and Food Industry). The building is located in the centre of Berlin a short walk away from the “Brandenburger Tor” and the “Reichstag” building with office buildings of the members of the “Bundestag” (German parliament). Biodiesel (RME) fuelled cogeneration plants in the cellar of the “Reichstag” building ensure the energy supply (heat, cooling and electricity) of the buildings – annual demand of 3500 tons of Biodiesel.

The conference fee is 250 € (VAT inclusive) for members of AGQM and BPAC and 550 € (VAT inclusive) for all other participants. The number of participants is limited to 100.
