Converted ADM trucks for demonstration of the economic efficiency of B100

ADM and Optimus Technologies have decided to jointly conduct a one-year project to demonstrate the viability of a new biodiesel technology in real-world applications for high mileage fleets. Five ADM trucks will be equipped with Optimus' Vector fuel system, which enables diesel engines to run entirely on sustainable biodiesel (B100). The trucks will be in daily fleet operation for one year, with each vehicle expected to travel 260,000-290,000 km. This should save up to 225,000 kg of CO₂. Using advanced monitoring, the partners will compare the performance and results of the new technology with five other trucks that form a control group and run on conventional fossil-based diesel.
