Invitation
4. International Conference for Biodiesel Manufacturers 31st May and 1st June 2010 in Berlin

Invitations to biofuel conferences of all kinds are flooding our mailboxes many of which provide good overviews. On the other hand, the 4th International Conference for Biodiesel Manufacturers focuses on three topics:

  • Biodiesel Market in constantly changing political frameworks
  • Quality management detecting traces of problematic substances
  • Production technology aiming to meet current and future standards

In order to provide the latest information on the above mentioned topics our speakers include ADM Biodiesel research expert Dr. Juergen Fischer, quality management specialist Dr. Jens Haupt and general manager of a relevant standardisation committee Dr. Thomas Feuerhelm. These and more experts from major manufacturers, research institutions and quality management organizations are confirmed speakers at the 4th International Conference for Biodiesel Manufacturers. These speakers are going to present the most recent developments in their fields and afterwards explain how future expectations can be met.

The association for Quality Management Biodiesel (AGQM) monitors, inspects, and certifies the quality management of 29 Biodiesel producers and traders with a combined production capacity of 3.9 million tons. AGQM professionals with a collective experience of over 40 years in Biodiesel related technology and analytics are going to present their conclusions based on thousands of carefully analyzed measurements representing the bulk of Biodiesel produced at present. Hence, the presented conclusions are characteristic of all Biodiesel.

Almost all Biodiesel sold today is required to meet certain standards (e.g. ASTM D6751, EN 14214). These standards are developed by organizations such as European Committee for Standardization (CEN) or German Institute for Standardization (DIN). Many of our speakers play key roles in the for Biodiesel relevant technical committees in these organizations. Consequently, they provide the latest information on Biodiesel standards as well as give realistic forecasts for possible future requirements which Biodiesel manufacturers should be aware of.
